02 Data Collection
We collect no personal data whatsoever. Freshkeep has no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no telemetry. The food items, categories, tags, notes and settings you create are stored only on your device.
03 How Your Data Is Used
All information is processed on-device only, solely to provide the app's features — tracking your inventory, computing expiry agendas, insights, streaks and your shopping list. Nothing is sent to us or any third party.
04 Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent or disclose your data to anyone, because we never receive it. Files you choose to export or share via the Android share sheet are sent only where you direct them.
05 Data Security
Your inventory is stored locally using Hive, and app settings via encrypted flutter_secure_storage. Because no data leaves your device, there is no server to breach.
06 Data Retention
Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can remove everything at any time via Settings → Clear all data, or by uninstalling the app.
07 No User Accounts
Freshkeep requires no account, no sign-up and no login. There are no usernames, passwords or profiles.
08 Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Freshkeep collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. The app contains no ads, no in-app purchases and no data collection of any kind.
09 Your Rights
Because your data lives only on your device, you have full control at all times. You can view, edit, export or permanently delete all of it from within the app — no request to us is required.
10 No Third-Party Services
Freshkeep integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or cloud services. It is fully self-contained.
11 Permissions
The app requests a single permission: INTERNET. It is used only to load this privacy policy page inside the app's in-app browser. It is never used to transmit your data.
12 Data Safety Form
Consistent with our Google Play Data Safety declaration: no data is collected and no data is shared. All processing happens on-device.
